My name is Sharon Johnson and I have been with Vision Travel since 2010. Previous to that I was with BCAA Travel for 14 plus years.
Some 30 years ago, I did a one week work experience volunteering in a travel agency, while still in high school. And I’ve been hooked ever since! In the intervening decades I’ve become a Certified Travel Counsellor and an advisor who truly cares about her clients, and who loves to see the world through her own eyes as well as yours. In all, I’ve visited 27 countries, with many more to come, I’m sure!
I especially love helping plan cruise vacations: the hassle-free one-stop-shopping is a wonderful way to travel. I’ve cruise with Holland America, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Windstar, Norwegian, and on the charming Paul Gauguin ship in the South Pacific. River cruising is booming – I have sailed with Uniworld on the Danube River and it was truly amazing!

Touring – either as part of a small or larger group – is also one of my favorites. Again: all the stress and worry taken out of the trip planning process and the vacation itself…how perfect is that?

In September 2023 I sailed on board the new luxury line Explora. This ship is less than 1000 guests and the sister ship has just recently launched in September 2024. With the slogan "Ocean state of mind" you will find the attention to detail on board creates a most relaxed experience.
I have just returned from a Familiarization trip to New Zealand. We were able to explore Auckland for a few days before flying to the South Island and taking part in a number of fun adventures from zip lining to jet boating the Dart River.
