DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY
DAY 1: Arrive Melbourne (Narrm)

Ranked as one of the world’s most liveable cities, Melbourne is famous for its vibrant energy, restaurants, fashion boutiques, café filled laneways, cool bars, unbeatable galleries, spacious parks and village-like inner suburbs, each with its own special character. Melbourne is less than 200 years old and never sits still. Modern, cutting-edge designs add to the fascinating mix of heritage architecture and ensure the skyline is constantly changing.
Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel by a Private Car & Driver. Today is a free day to relax and get to know the area surrounding your hotel.
The hotel's design has a modern and inviting appeal that pays tribute to the Art Deco era of the original Hotel Alexander built on the site in 1928. This property is located in the city centre, 40 metres from Southern Cross Train Station and 1.1 kilometres from Bourke Street Mall. There is a tram stop on the property's doorstep.
DAY 2: Melbourne (Narrm) - Guided Tour

FULL DAY PHILIP ISLAND & MOONLIT SANCTUARY TOURS
Your 7 to 8-hour tour provides you with the opportunity to travel to Phillip Island to witness the evening ritual of the Penguin Parade. Stop at the Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park where you will meet endangered species, kangaroos, wallabies and koalas plus an array of colourful birds and reptiles. Travel onto Phillip Island, the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix home, and our famous Little Penguins. Upon arrival on the island, depending on the time of year and your particular interests, you will visit Woolamai beach to see surfers riding the waves. From here, you go to the western corner of the island to enjoy magnificent views of Bass Strait and the Nobbies, which is home to the largest colony of fur seals in Australia. Witness the natural phenomena of the Penguin Parade on floodlit Summerland Beach. You will head to the Visitor Centre to shop, and meander along the boardwalk to the viewing platform where you will see the little penguins come ashore, decked out in their tuxedos as they hurry off to find their burrows. Return to Melbourne, where you will be transferred to your Melbourne city accommodation.
What to bring: Please bring warm, waterproof clothing as nights can be cold on the island in any season.
DAY 3: Melbourne (Narrm) - Afternoon Walking Tour

AFTERNOON BIRRARUNG WILAM WALKING TOUR
This 1 hour walking tour takes you through Federation Square and down to the Birrarung Wilam (Common Ground) Aboriginal art installations, experiencing the Aboriginal history of the Birrarung Marr (Beside the river of mists) and Aboriginal Peoples of the Kulin Nation. With your experienced Koorie guides, you will learn how the land on which Melbourne is located has changed over time and about the significance of the Birrarung Wilam to the local Kulin peoples. You will gain a deeper and more meaningful understanding of this incredible location; an important gathering place for the Kulin Nation and one of Melbourne’s most popular meeting hubs. At the completion of your tour, make your own way to your Melbourne accommodation.

This 2 hour tour provides you with the opportunity to climb a section of the Adelaide Oval's roof. Your trained RoofClimb Leaders will guide you across the highest points of the Oval’s unique roofline during twilight hours. Travelling from the Western Stand to the Riverbank Stand on a purpose-built path before navigating to the Riverbank platform, perched 50 metres over the hallowed turf. FULL DAY FLINDERS CHASE FOCUS TOUR
Your 9 hour tour begins on the island’s north-west in an important private wildlife refuge with Kangaroo Island Land for Wildlife. Check out wildlife surveys targeting tiny endangered mammals and get an introduction to the bush, so the fire ecology experienced later in the day has context. Break for an elegant picnic lunch in the bush, featuring marinated poached chicken, fresh salads, cheeses and fantastic South Australian wine, beer, soft drinks and spring water. After lunch, travel into Flinders Chase National Park and explore the massive shapes of Remarkable Rocks, a natural sculpture perched impossibly on top of a dome of granite emerging from the ocean. Evidence of the power of the Southern Ocean swell continues at Admirals Arch – a coastal grotto which provides a haul out for a large colony of Long-nosed fur seals who swim effortlessly through the crashing waves.
