Ineke Brinkman

Ineke has a passion for group travel and escorts Journeys in Faith, luxury cruises, riverboat cruises, Liberation tours to her home country the Netherlands, and she organizes and participates in adventure travel, be it climbing, hiking or cycling.

She climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, reached Mt. Everest Base Camp and trekked the Inca Trail.

After operating Brinkman Travel for 23 years, Ineke joined Vision Travel in 2016, now called Direct Travel.

Being an Independent Contractor allowed for Walking the 800 km Camino from St. Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostella, and continuing on to the end of the earth: Finesterre. She then hiked the 900 km Bruce Trail from Queenston to Tobermory/Ontario; and did the Scottish Highlands. Other highlights were hiking in Waterton National Park, Alberta, traveling to Labrador, climbing Gros Morne in Newfoundland and staying in the fabulous Fogo Island Inn. Reaching Tiger's Nest in Bhutan was special, but staying in the Pemako Resorts topped it all.

Cycling is another of Ineke's passions; frequently she organizes bike tours abroad for her Fellow Freewheelers' members and friends.

Ineke has been privileged to host Virtuoso Guests on board the MS Ovation sailing from Singapore to Dubai and was along with her partner David assigned to host Virtuoso guests onboard the Seabourn Sojourn's two world cruises; the Crystal Serenity's world cruise in 2025 and a Silversea grand voyage in 2026, starting in Perth, ending in Singapore. This is besides expeditions to Antarctica and the Galapagos.

As a woman of faith Ineke has organized many, many pilgrimage tours worldwide, along with Spiritual Leaders from her Diocese in St. Catharines.

Having visited Canada coast to coast in addition to - according to the Travelers' Century Club's official list of countries -  150 countries and territories, covering all seven continents,  Ineke is comfortable from camping to the most luxurious accommodation in the world. Her curious mind continues to seek out new adventures.

Ineke is at her best when sharing her passion and expertise with fellow travelers and consulting those who wish to explore and experience. Fulfilling dreams is what makes her happy!
