Ineke has a passion for group travel and escorts Journeys in Faith, along with the annual winter cruise to the Caribbean, riverboat cruising, tours to her home country the Netherlands, and she organizes and participates in adventure travel, be it climbing, hiking or cycling.
Sports has always been in Ineke’s blood. In 2003 climbed she Mt. Kilimanjaro, in 2007 she reached Mt. Everest Base Camp and trekked the Inca Trail in 2009.
After operating her own business since 1993, Brinkman Travel joined Vision Travel Solutions in 2016.
This allowed for a bit more free time and the first item to tick off her bucket list was Walking the Camino; on May 21, 2017 Ineke reached Santiago de Compostella/Spain after walking 800 kilometers, continuing on to Finesterre: The end of the earth; she then hiked the 900 km Bruce Trail and a one week hike doing the Scottish Highlands.
Cycling is another of Ineke's passions; frequently she organizes bike tours abroad for her Fellow Freewheelers' members and friends.
To celebrate Canada 150 she traveled in 2017 to Labrador, hiked a week in Waterton National Park in Alberta and toured Newfoundland, climbed Gros Morne and ended the adventure at the fabulous Fogo Island Inn.
Ineke was privileged to host Virtuoso Guests on board the MS Ovation in 2019 on a sailing from Singapore to Dubai and was assigned - along with her partner David - hosts for Seabourn's World Cruise 2020 and for 2024.
As a woman of faith Ineke has organized many, many pilgrimage tours worldwide, along with Spiritual Leaders from her Diocese in St. Catharines.
Having visited Canada coast to coast in addition to - according to the Travelers' Century Club's official list of countries - 146 countries and territories, covering all seven continents, Ineke is comfortable from camping to the most luxurious accommodation in the world. Her curious mind continues to seek out new adventures.
Ineke is at her best when able to share her passion and expertise with fellow travelers and consulting those who wish to explore and experience.
Fulfilling dreams is what makes her happy! There is no mountain too high!
