Our first ladies trip post Covid-19 was to Puglia and Matera with Exodus Travel in September 2022.  Ten of us arrived in Bari on September 13th for a fantastic 8 night journey which included the beautiful cities of Lecce, Alberobello and Matera.  While in Puglia, we also visited Otranto, Polignano a Mare, Gallipoli on the Salento coast, the "white city" of Ostuni and Altamura for the amazing world famous Altamura bread.  We visited wineries, had a visit to an ancient masseria for an olive oil tasting, a cooking class in another masseria and so much more. 

While in Alberobello we stayed in our own trullo house for 2 nights, and in the ancient city of Matera we stayed at the Hotel Sassi, each of us in our own cave hotel room for 2 nights.  Both were very unique and quiet something to experience. 

We loved the food, the wines, the people and the beautiful scenery of Puglia and Matera.  

 Join us on our next adventure in May 2024 where will have be going back to Puglia and Matera and in October 2024 we will be going to Spain.
