Day 1: Brisbane & Moreton Island
Arrive Brisbane, transfer to Moreton Island

Moreton Island
As one of the world's largest sand islands, adrenaline seekers flock to Moreton Island for the unique experience of sand tobogganing down the world's tallest stabilised sand dune, Mt Tempest. With mysterious shipwrecks and colourful coral reefs, the famous Tangalooma Wrecks provide some of the best diving and snorkelling on the east coast of Australia. Moreton is almost entirely National Park. Towards the northern end of the island, the freshwater Blue Lagoon is home to a host of birdlife and wildflowers during spring. The area is perfect for bird watching and bushwalking, with several walking tracks established on the island. And let's not forget the oldest lighthouse in Queensland, which was first lit on February 14, 1857 and is still standing strong at Cape Moreton.Day 2: Moreton Island

Wrecks Snorkel Tour & Desert Safari Tour

Morning Wrecks Snorkle Tour - on this 1.5 hour tour you will experience one of Australia's best snorkelling locations set among dramatic shipwrecks (30 minutes in the water). The Wrecks are home to a large variety of different species of reef fish, coral formations and marine life. The Snorkel Tour is a much safer experience as you are taken to the wrecks by boat - so there is no need to battle the currents and swim there yourself. At the conclusion of your tour, make your own way to your accommodation.
Afternoon Desert Safari Tour - on this 1.5 hour tour you will take a journey to the scenic Tangalooma Desert region as part of this thrilling 4WD bus tour. Participate in the exhilarating sport of sand tobogganing, reaching speeds of up to 40 km per hour! At the conclusion of your tour, make your own way to your accommodation.Day 4: Moreton Island to Brisbane (Meeanjin)

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Today board your boat and leave the city behind on a relaxing 1.25 hour cruise to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Enjoy an informative commentary from your captain and morning tea as you glide along Brisbane’s waterfront, passing from the bustle of the city’s skyscrapers to leafy suburbs with waterside mansions. Arriving at Lone Pine where you will have time to explore the world’s largest koala sanctuary, with more than 130 Koalas on site. Have a Koala Moment (no hold), take photos with the adorable marsupials (own expense), and perhaps catch a talk by the koala’s keepers. Discover the Platypus House or check out the owls, kites and sea eagles at the popular Birds of Prey show. You can also feed the kangaroos and wallabies or watch a sheepdog show where you see the hardworking dogs round up a herd of sheep, responding to their master’s whistles, calls and hand signals.
